"I’m Combat Carl, an Army veteran who proudly served eight years in the U.S. Army from 2007 to 2015. My boots have hit the ground in some of the toughest places, including two deployments to Iraq—first in Baghdad from 2007 to 2008, and 2009 to 2010 in q-west and again during a high-intensity rotation—and a third deployment to Kandahar, Afghanistan. Throughout my service, I learned lessons in the chaos of combat, experiences that continue to shape who I am today."
